Nora Knoll

Mrs. Nora Knoll nee Weiershausen of Albert, Texas passed away on Saturday, June 30th in the Windcrest Nursing and Rehab Center at the age of 97 years. Nora was born March 20, 1915 in Johnson City, Texas to Dan and Hilda Herbort Weiershausen. Along with her parents, Nora was preceded in death by her two husbands, Edgar Maenius and Bill Knoll. Nora is survived by her daughter: Ellen Maenius Felps of Hye, Texas as well as 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.

The body lied in state on Tuesday, July 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church in Stonewall, Texas. Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, July 3rd at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Gary Mayer officiating. Interment followed in the Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Trinity Lutheran Church or to the charity of one’s choice. Pallbearers will be Jed Felps, William Deike, Russell Maenius, Curtis Felps, Jerry Peiser, and Cliff Maenius.
