During its July 16 Board meeting in Johnson City, Pedernales Electric Cooperative distributed more than $132,000 in Community Development Partnership Program grants from the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) to seven local organizations serving PEC members and communities.

Grant recipients included: Johnson City Little League, $25,000; Round Mountain Volunteer Fire Department, $6,604; St. Luke’s Mission, $25,000; City of Cottonwood Shores, $15,300; Buchanan Community Center and Volunteer Fire Department, Inc., $21,860; Anderson Mill Memorial, Inc., $20,000; Pedernales Emergency Services, $18,802.
