The Blanco Pioneer Museum’s mission is to explain the different phases of history and heritage of Blanco County for the education and enjoyment of the public. We have been able to accomplish this mission through the generous and gracious loans from people such as you. The World War II exhibit has finally come to a close after a very successful showing of artifacts brought home from the battlefields, family pictures and the many pieces of memorabilia our county residents saved from this significant event in history.
The directors of the museum say “Thank You” for supporting the museum with a loan or loans made to the museum. Our exhibit was enhanced by your generous sharing of memorabilia, pictures or artifacts. To close out the World War II exhibit, a series of Battlefield tours on tape are being shown at the Blanco Library during August, so please come by the Library and enjoy the movies.
