Loyalty in Real Estate and Construction (and anything else in life) will take you so much further. You might be asking, Why in Real Estate and Construction? Just like anything else in life when you are a loyal employee, customer, client, etc. you will be rewarded. It applies in Real Estate and Construction too. Let me explain my view on Real Estate and Construction since I have both companies.
In Real Estate, if you stick with your agent, send them referrals, listen to them, you can be rewarded in many ways. First off, the agent normally will work even harder for you. Because there is a trust and a build-up of loyalty. They most likely will go beyond helping you with that real estate transaction, and help you in any way they can. In our case, this is a small town and it is much easier to bond during a transaction. You have to see that person in town and at events. If you jump from agent to agent, you get a reputation, and might not get the service you could have had. Agents talk and know who is shopping agents or jumping around. However, you do have the choice of interviewing an agent in the beginning. I highly suggest this, then stick with them. Secondly, these agents can also help you in subdivision transactions and more. It just might be able to get a better deal for you. Plus they can tell you what is truly going on in the subdivision and town. They work for you as your buyer’s agent. Finally, the loyalty that is developed can only lead to many more doors that can open, especially when you are new to town, need additional assistance, or just becoming your new friend. I can’t tell you how nice it is to have those folks that stick with you. Personally, I would like to thank all of you who do stick with the agents who are or have worked for you.
On the Construction side, it’s pretty much of the same as real estate applies. If you stick with your builder, they normally will go beyond the call of duty to make you happy in your project. Many times, I have seen so many extra things being done with NO CHARGE or one heck of a deal. You know you have the loyalty established, especially if they keep calling you back and not even contacting someone else for a quote. It means a lot to builders to have prior clients call them back or send them a referral. So, as a builder, thanks for showing your loyalty and support to the builder who helped you.
In conclusion, yes, loyalty can mean more than just the word itself. According to Webster Dictionary, loyalty means “the quality or state or an instance of being loyal.” Think about how you want to be treated. You will get so much more in life, real estate, and construction with showing loyalty.
