Steve and Phyllis Edmondson of Alvin, Texas will be married 50 years on August 31, 2012. Steve is originally from Kendalia, and Phil was born in Blanco. As fate would have it, years ago, the small Kendalia school merged with Blanco schools or they may have never met. They started dating when Phil was a senior and Steve was attending college at SAC in San Antonio. They graduated SWT college in San Marcos and then both did graduate work at the University of Texas. Phil was a teacher and Steve is still a practicing research chemist. They have two sons, Bryan Edmondson of Cypress and Boyd Edmondson and his wife Gian of Bothell, Washington. Steve and Phil come home to Blanco every chance they have to visit and have many friends and relatives in the area. They always told each other that they would go “Through All The Years” and are hoping to add many more.
