Juanita “Janie” Davila Bermea Romero

Janie Romero, 76, passed away on September 5, 2012 in her home in Blanco, Texas, she was born on April 7, 1936. Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband Federico “Fred” Romero Sr. of 58 years.

She is survived by her children. Sons: Fred Romero Jr. and wife Cruz of Blanco, Opie Romero and wife Dana of Blanco, Medo Romero and wife MaryAnne of Blanco and Tito Romero and wife Nancy of Blanco. Daughters: Mary Uvalle and husband Robert of Granite Shoals, Tina Miranda of Blanco, Linda Garcia and husband Mingo of Blanco, and Mary Jane Hill and husband Alan of Blanco.

Grandchildren: Jennifer Romero Sacriste, Roxanne Romero, Rhonda Romero Nevarez, Jessica Romero Brown, Cynthia Romero Rodriguez, Melissa Gutierrez Williams, Leslie Rios Clark, Anthony Romero, Margaret Gutierrez, Valentine Martinez, Ernie Rios Jr., Gabriel Garcia, Christina Martinez Sanchez, Kimberley Romero, Rob Uvalle, Michael Rios, Brody Romero, Albert Martinez, Adrian Garcia, Tony Uvalle, Tim Goodman, Hunter Goodman and Callaway Hill.

Great-Grandchildren: 36.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 6, at Crofts Funeral Home, Blanco, with the Rosary to follow at 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be 10:00 AM Friday, September 7, at St. Ferdinand’s Catholic Church, Blanco, with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Twin Sisters.
