Wonderful readers: Lots of good thoughts and prayers go out to Judy Dorsett! She is recovering and we are glad to hear it!

The first football game has been played and the Panthers are now ready to take on the world! The 1st Fifth Quarter was held at Blanco United Methodist Church and was really well-attended. Check online for where next week’s will be held.

Since fall seems to be on the way (next week is supposed to be cool enough to open all the windows - hooray!), there are many things to do! I will beattending the UT/WVU game - and I will be cheering for West Virginia. I haven’t seen them play for almost 25 years. The Wild Game dinner is that same day, so those of you who aren’t going to the game, go to the dinner.

And hugs and prayers go out to Sheila.
