The Panther volleyball team played aggressive offense against the Boerne Geneva Eagles on Tuesday, August 28, winning the match 3-1. Game scores were 25-18, 25-23, 18-25, and 25-30. The Eagles had previously beaten Blanco on August 14, 1-3. Setter Lexee Jenkins set the ball to hitters Reagan Rogers, Leslie McClinton, Abbie Culton, and Kelsey Schwind for points scored on a balanced attack of kills and tips.

Defensely, Payton Savarino and Meaghan Seales dug and passed balls to Lexee.

The Junior Varsity team lost a close first set to Geneva 24-26 and then lost 11-25 in the second.

The Panthers tangled with the Canyon Lake Hawks on Friday, August 31, falling 1-3. The game scores were 16-25, 19-25, 25-22, and 22-25. As the match progressed, every point was tense with the games won by close margins.

The Junior Varsity also lost to the Hawks 16-25 and 16-25.

The teams traveled to St. Stephens in Austin Tuesday, September 4, and the Varsity then again plays in a tournament at St. Stephens on Friday and Saturday.
