Last Saturday and Sunday, Blanco Pioneer Museum held opening ceremonies for the new western exhibit. The event was emceed by Pat Vallone. Speakers included Rebecca Howerton, County Judge Guthrie, Sherry Jenkins, Dennis Moore, and Nell Krueger. BBQ was served and music was played. Photos from the event captured by Charles Willgren, Patty Coffee and Willard Gibbons.

The museum is open Friday through Sunday from 11am to 3pm; special openings are available to groups. Call 830-833-5774 or visit blancopioneer.org for more information.
