Judy and Bobby Brewer of Blanco had a visit from their son, Bruce Malone, who came from East Texas the week before Christmas for an early Christmas visit. While he was here, they went out for pizza one night and steak another night. He went back to Rusk to spend Christmas with his wife and son, but while he was here Judy, Bobby, and he had a good time. The rest of the family is coming on the 29th, so on Christmas Day Judy and Bobby plan on relaxing by taking in a movie. Happy Holidays to everyone from THE BREWERS!

Resident Christina Wilkins and staff members Dee Isidro and Rudy Cathey were the honorees at a party given for their December birthdays this past Wednesday afternoon. Hostess was Rebecca Howerton of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Everyone enjoyed listening to their favorite hymns played by Darlene Kiernan at the piano and Dorothy Dillon singing. After the Happy Birthday song was sung by everyone, refreshments of cake, strawberry ice cream and punch were served by Rebecca, Activity Director Pauline Walker and volunteer Doris Collins.

On Christmas Day, Sally Jo Rust Gravenor, Sandy Gravenor, both from Henly, Mike and Lacey Moraign, Cicero Rust, and Sam McDougall enjoyed a traditional turkey dinner at the home of CA Rust III. Sam and CA later prepared for a weekend in San Antonio to attend the Alamo Bowl at the Alamodome.
