Wednesday, October 3, 2012 • Posted October 5, 2012

Eleven Agricultural Science students from the Blanco FFA Chapter recently attended the Hill District Leadership Day Camp held at Fredericksburg High School. Blanco is one of the fourteen schools that comprise the Hill District Association.

The purpose of the camp was to develop leadership and social skills while providing students the opportunity to meet other FFA members with similar interests.

The camp was put on by a group of officers that were elected in the spring to represent the Hill District Association for this school year.

Mason Leblanc, who currently represents the Blanco FFA Chapter on the Hill District Officer board, conducted a workshop session over Communication and Effective Listening.

Those attending the camp as delegates were John Adams, Emily Romero, Justin Williams, Kenny Peyton, Victoria Jeske, Bret Leigh Nance, James Rodriguez, Jordan Forsberg, Ryan Bible, Alexis Liesmann, and Hunter Riley. Also attending but not pictured was Morgan Lowak.
