Varsity Volleyball Holds 2-2 in District

The Panther volleyball team tallied one district loss and one district win this past week, falling to Lago Vista, 0-3, on Tuesday, October 2, and defeating Johnson City, 3-0 on Friday, October 5.

Against Lago Vista, the set scores were 19-25, 17-25, and 9-25. Reagan Rogers led the Panthers with 10 kills. Lexee Jenkins made 17 assists and 1 service ace. Leslie McClinton dug 16 service returns. Kelsey Schwind and Ashlyn Stephens hit 1 block each.

In the win over Johnson City, the set scores were 25-15, 25-10, and 25-7. Reagan slammed 13 kills. Lexee made 28 assists and 4 aces. Payton Savarino dug 11 service returns. Leslie made 4 blocks.

The Junior Varsity lost to Lago Vista 8-25 and 23-25, but grabbed a hard fought battle over Johnson City 21-25, 25-17, and 25-21. The Panthers start the second round of district play at home against Ingram on Friday, October 12. The varsity will play at 4:00pm.
