The Panther volleyball team recorded two wins this week, defeating the Randolph Ro-Hawks, 3-2, on Tuesday, October 9, and toppling the Ingram Warriors, 3-0, on Friday, October 12. Against Randolph the set scores were 22-25, 19-25, 25-13, 25-23, and 15-5. The Panthers made a great comeback after being down 0-2. Reagan Rogers and Leslie McClinton led the team in kills with 18 and 17 respectively. Lexee Jenkins made 30 assists, Reagan hit 6 aces and 2 blocks, while Leslie made 27 digs and 2 blocks. On Friday the Panthers beat the Warriors 25-21, 25-18, and 25-15. Reagan hit 16 kills to lead Blanco. Lexee made 24 assists. Leslie his 3 aces and made 18 digs. Kelsey Schwind hit 4 blocks. The Panther junior varsity took a 2-0 win over Randolph but fell 0-2 to Ingram. The Panthers face Comfort at home on Tuesday, October 16, and travel to Lago Vista on Friday, October 19.
