Two Flu Clinics Set
Wednesday, October 24, 2012 • Posted October 25, 2012

The Texas Department of State Health Services will be providing seasonal adult flu vaccinations at the following outreach clinics.

November 7, noon-3pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, 701 N. Main, Blanco. November 14, noon-3pm at First Methodist Church, 105 LBJ Dr., Johnson City.

DSHS recommends the flu shots for all people 6 months of age and older. Vaccination is especially important for people at higher risk of severe influenza and their close contacts, including healthcare personnel and close contacts of children younger than 6 months.

The cost of the vaccination is a $20 suggested donation for adults; with a Medicare file, no donation. Service will not be denied for the inability to pay.

If you have any questions, please contact the Department State Health Services, 1016 Broadway, Suite 103, Marble Falls, Texas, 78654 or at 830-693-8424.
