Western Showcase to Feature Homemade Jams, Jellies
Wednesday, October 31, 2012 • Posted November 2, 2012

During the inaugural Western Showcase at the Buggy Barn Museum, local grower and chef Barby O’Brien (BlancoBarby), who continues to fill her kitchen with cases of homemade jams and jellies, will have all these available at the showcase. The many fruit trees at her ranch have produced figs, pomegranates, plums, peaches, apples, and pears nonstop. Other items available for sale will be her award-winning salsa and mustard, one-of-a-kind hand-crocheted blankets, a large assortment of scarves and hats for the upcoming cooler weather, and her famous requested rag rugs. Other vendors will bring handcrafted items, benches, handmade jewelry, and specialty items all day on November 3.
