Red Cross Interviews Benefit Historians

That's Sherry Jenkins interviewing Billy Windsor of Kerrville about his military experiences during World War II. Jenkins was one of a group of volunteers who went to Kerrville to learn how to do the interviews for the American Red Cross on behalf of the Library of Congress, which wants the videos of the conversations for its archives, to benefit future historians. With their training and practice behind them, the Blanco County volunteers now will be able to add our own vets to the collection and to put their memories in our own local libraries as well.
