Wednesday, December 5, 2012 • Posted December 6, 2012

Grant Weaver is one of eleven members of the Texas A&M Ranger Challenge Team. Ranger Challenge is the varsity sport of the Army ROTC composed of highly motivated and physically fit cadets. The team follows an intensive training regimen and constantly prepares for an annual competition throughout the year. Grant’s team won the Bold Leader Challenge at Ft. Knox, Kentucky, in late October, competing against other Senior Military Schools including Norwich, The Citadel,Virginia Military Institute, and Virginia Tech.

The team qualified to attend the Ranger Challenge Sandhurst competition at Westpoint, New York, in late April 2013 where they will be competing against other countries such as Germany, Australia, Canada, and China. This year’s Ranger Challenge Team is the first team to go to Sandhurst in five years.

We are very proud of the team and wish them all the best. Whoop!
