Dec 11

• False Alarm. 4:04 AM. (with Blanco Co. SO)

• Medical Emergency. 9:59 AM. An elderly individual had fallen at a location on Main St. The individual was taken to the hospital.

• Suspicious Vehicle. 7:52 PM. A car was parked in front of The Vintage Cottage all day. The owner later picked up the vehicle.

Dec 12

• Traffic Accident. 12:34 PM. US 281 at 6th St.

• Alarm. 6:20 PM. ExpressCare.

Dec 13

• Alarm. 9:34 AM. A&E Field Services.

• Vehicle Fire. 1:36 PM. A vehicle on US 281, three miles south of Blanco, was on fire. A wrecker was requested (with Blanco Co. SO).

• Suspicious Person. 7:46 PM. A caller reported a Spanish-speaking woman who was sitting outside the Blanco Recycling Center. The officer was unable to locate the subject.

• Disturbance. 9:30 PM. A verbal disturbance was reported between two individuals; one had left the scene.

• Minor Traffic Accident. 10:31 PM.

Dec 14

• Alarm. 4:46 AM. Uptown Art Gallery.

• Suspicious Circumstances. 10:25 AM. A caller reported a window broken in a classroom at Blanco Elementary. Responding officers reported a burglary of a building.

• Information. 5:34 PM. A caller reported a person who was missing from her place of work.

Dec 15

• Suspicious Circumstances. 10:15 AM. A subject was videotaped shoplifting from the Shell station. An officer reported that a criminal trespass warning would be issued.

• Citizen Assist. 6:08 PM. A caller on Greenlawn Parkway stated that she heard a loud pop and then smelled a lot of smoke. An officer reported that a transformer was out and had burned the cable line. PEC was notified.

Dec 16

• Alarm. 4:28 AM. An audible alarm at a business was triggered by the wind.

• Audible Alarm. 12:26 PM. An officer responded to the alarm call on Main St., found an open door and secured it.

• Disorderly Conduct. 5:45 PM. A caller reported juveniles fighting behind PEC. Officers reported that the juveniles were just horse-playing.

Dec 17

• Threats. 6:49 PM. An officer followed up on a report of threats.

Dec 11

• Information. 3:00 PM. A caller asked to speak with an officer about a protective order.

• Information. 7:11 PM. An officer spoke with individuals about a probation violation.

• Alarm. 10:55 PM. A cleaning crew set off alarms at Johnson City Bank.

Dec 12

• Animal Complaint. 10:09 AM. A caller complained about a dog at Deer Creek Park.

Dec 13

• Hazardous Spill. 11:43 AM. An RV at Vallejo had spilled anti-freeze and sewage. The fire department assisted with the cleanup.

• Alarm. 1:46 PM. Sta-Bilt.

• Suspicious Vehicle. 5:38 PM. A vehicle had been sitting in the Super S parking lot since the previous day.

Dec 14

• Suspicious Circumstances. 10:23 AM. A caller reported a home broken into, possibly by family members.

Dec 15

• Information. 6:05 AM. A juvenile had not been seen or heard from by his parents for two days, and was last seen at a friend’s house the previous day.

• 911 Hangup. 10:05 AM. 911 received an accidental call from Johnson City ISD.

• Theft. 2:26 PM. A caller reported a theft.

• Alarm. 4:34 PM. Accidental alarm at Johnson City Bank (with Blanco Co. SO).

• Suspicious Vehicle. 9:49 PM. A van had been parked in the parking lot at the LBJ Boyhood Home for two or three hours, a caller reported. An officer was requested to check on the vehicle.

Dec 16

• Civil Matter. 12:08 PM. A caller reported the theft of a repaired welding trailer. The matter was civil.

• Disturbance. 11:03 PM. A caller reported two individuals fighting at City Oaks Apartments. Two officers responded and reported that the disturbance was verbal only. One subject was taken to the Exxon.

Dec 17

• Verbal Disturbance. 11:43 AM. A caller reported a verbal disturbance with a customer at Dollar General. An officer settled the situation at the scene and issued a criminal trespass notice.

Blanco County Sheriff’s Office Reports

These reports were filed between Dec 11 and Dec 17.

Dec 11

• Suspicious Vehicle. 5:33 AM. A person stated that an SUV appeared to be on its side on RR 1323. A deputy found no sign of damage on Sandy Rd. A vehicle was located with two blow-outs and front end damage.

• Agency Assist. 5:52 AM. A caller requested assistance in helping up a person who fell.

• Alarm. 6:28 AM. Officers responded to an alarm at Johnson City Bank Drive-Thru. The alarm was accidentally set off by an employee.

• Loose Livestock. 9:40 AM. A caller requested assistance with rounding up cattle off RR 2766.

• Traffic Accident. 11:08 AM. A van pulling a trailer rolled over on RR 165. A wrecker was requested.

Dec 12

• Alarm. 10:36 AM. A residential burglar alarm was triggered by high winds.

• Close Patrol. 8:15 PM.

• Suspicious Circumstances. 9:50 PM. A caller reported two large campfires under the Pedernales River Bridge and a bunch of individuals around the fires. Officers responded and notified the parents (with Johnson City PD).

• Loose Livestock. 11:50 PM. A palomino and a black horse were standing in the middle of Old Marble Falls Rd. The horses were put up.

Dec 13

• Grass Fire. 1:33 PM. A grass fire on RR 2766 had been started by wind and power lines. PEC was contacted.

• Motorist Assist. 6:06 PM. An officer assisted the driver of a car on US 281, two miles south of Blanco.

Dec 14

• Suicide Attempt. 10:43 AM. A caller reported a subject who may have been suicidal and had left the residence. The subject was located in Comal County and was reportedly OK.

• Abandoned Vehicle. 2:05 PM. A Pedernales State Park ranger reported a vehicle that had been sitting on the county road for over 24 hours.

Dec 15

• Information. 6:12 AM. A caller stated that her daughter, who lives in Austin, was complaining about chest pains. Dispatch transferred the call as they could not advise on what to do.

• Traffic Hazard. 7:58 AM. A large bag of trash was reported in the middle of US 281, north of Stallion Estates. An officer removed the bag.

• Suicide Attempt. 11:27 AM. A subject stated that she took pills. Officers assisted with EMS and AirLife.

• Motorist Assist. 6:13 PM. A caller reported two vehicles on the side of US 290 East at Miller Creek Cemetery, possibly from a traffic accident. Officers reported that one vehicle had four flat tires and the other had stopped to help. The roadway was checked for debris and was clear. No traffic accident had occurred.

Dec 16

• Loose Livestock. 7:58 AM. Loose livestock was reported at Little Eden Daycare on Klett Ranch Road. The owner was contact and said she would take care of the problem as soon as possible.

• 911 Hangup. 10:26 AM. An officer checked on a residence after 911 received a hangup call. Everything was OK.

• Suspicious Circumstances. 10:44 AM. A caller reported a suspicious vehicle on Yeager Creek. The description of the occupants did not match that of the owner, according to the license plate search. .

• Loose Livestock. 12:35 PM. An individual was having goats hauled off.

• Reckless Driver. 7:10 PM. A truck was seen traveling northbound at a high rate of speed in the southbound lanes of US 281.

• Close Patrol. 8:00 PM.

• Stranded Motorists. 8:43 PM. A caller reported a stranded motorist on the side of US 281 who was trying to flag down someone. The motorist was gone when officers arrived.

Dec 17

• Prisoner Transfer. 6:32 AM. A prisoner was picked up from Comanche County for court in Blanco County.

• Close Patrol. 10:00 AM.

• Reckless Driver. 10:55 AM. A driver was reportedly falling asleep while driving on US 290 West.

• Prisoner Transfer. 11:54 AM. A prisoner was transferred from Comal County to Blanco County.

• Motorist Assist. 1:59 PM. A caller reported a stranded Hummer H3 on US 281 near the zoo.

• Traffic Accident. 9:08 PM. A two-vehicle accident was reported in the middle of 473 West at US 281. A Blanco County deputy and Blanco PD assisted. A wrecker was requested.

Dec 13

• Traffic Accident / Agency Assist. 1:42 AM. A driver on US 281, two miles north of FM 306, fell asleep while driving. Blanco County deputies and Blanco PD assisted. A wrecker was requested.

• Arrest. 8:00 PM. One subject was arrested on US 281 at Transfer Rd.

• Suspicious Circumstances. 10:33 PM. A caller reported a white pickup truck parked in front of Main Street Boutique in Johnson City; the subject inside the vehicle was doing something suspicious (with Johnson City PD).

Dec 14

• Traffic Accident. 7:37 AM. A traffic accident was reported on Kendalia Rd. One subject was arrested (with Blanco Co. SO).

Dec 16

• Traffic Accident / Agency Assist. 4:11 PM. A car hit a fence on RR 1623 and was tangled up. DPS was notified and filed a report (with Blanco Co. SO).
