Perry Taber

Perry Taber, age 53, of Spring Branch, Texas, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2009. Perry was born in Merrillville, Indiana where he married his wife, Yvonne, in 1977, after which they moved to Spring Branch, Texas. Perry is survived by his wife Yvonne (nee Chirby) Taber, son, Adam Taber and daughters, Jessica Taber and Grace Taber, and one grandchild, Christopher. Other survivors are three sisters: Cheryl (Bob) Pintorak of Knox, Indiana; Terry Pierce of Houston, Texas; Kerry (Herb) Spalding of Mt. Prospect, Illinois, and many nieces and nephews.

Perry was preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie and James Taber of Merrillville, Indiana. Perry was a graduate of Merrillville High School, class of 1974. He was a master carpenter for many years and woodworking was one of his hobbies. He also enjoyed sports, bowling, golf, and fishing with family and friends. He will be missed by his family and many friends.

Friends were invited to meet with the family on Sunday, January 11, 2009, from 9:00am to 8:00pm at Crofts Funeral Home in Blanco, Texas.

Funeral services were held Monday, January 12, 2009, at Crofts Funeral Home at 2:00pm with Pastor Dave Tooker officiating. Burial will be at Jones Cemetery in Kendalia, Texas.
