Spring Branch Tennis Center to Open 12 Courts
Wednesday, January 2, 2008 • Posted January 1, 2008

Spring Branch Tennis Center would like to introduce the SBTC to our Hill Country community. The Spring Branch Tennis Center will consist of 12 USTA approved tennis courts and a clubhouse. SBTC Director Erinn Murray states the proposed facility could then host all levels of leagues, tournaments, and lessons. Along with youth programs consisting of after school clinics, summer camps and No-Charge programs to the disadvantaged.

The SBTC intends on servicing the counties of Comal, Blanco, Kendall and Bexar. Our growing community deserves a tennis center where individuals of all ages can enjoy physical exercise and competition through the sport of tennis. More importantly help youth in our area set goals, build character, respect for others and

themselves.

SBTC has recently been awarded a 25 year lease by the Comal County Parks Department of 1.8 acres at Jumbo Evans Sports Park on Hwy. 281 North. A $5,000 start-up grant was awarded to SBTC by the USTA as a first step in their commitment of continued support. SBTC has already begun and is willing to accept donations from our community. SBTC has a limited number of lifetime memberships available; as well as annual memberships.
