As a part of the Bexar County Livestock Show, members of the Blanco FFA Chapter traveled to San Antonio to compete in the Annual Livestock Judging Contest. There were over two hundred individuals competing in the event and students representing Blanco successfully earned four plaques for being in the top individuals.

In the Junior Division, Logan Dodd walked away with first high individual honors, beating the second high individual by a large margin of fourteen points. Placing sixth overall in the Intermediate Division was Maggie Dennis, while Susannah Campbell and Garrett Gombert both finished in the top forty. In Senior competition, Quaid Haack finish second overall followed by Keaton Dodd in sixteenth.

This proved to be a great start for the Blanco FFA Chapter as they had four of the six members being awarded a plaque.
