JV Girls hold back Brooks for the win - Sports - Blanco County News

The JV Panther girls hosted Brooks, and Brooks Academy proved to be a formidable opponent, keeping the score close until the last quarter. High scorer was Natalie Stahmann with 11 points. Presley Savarino put four points on the board, Hillary Calzoncit and Susannah Campbell each sunk a basket for two. Riki Cole and Lauren Graham rounded out the play with three and one points respectively. First quarter score: 4-4, second quarter: 12-8, third quarter: 17-10. Final score was 23-12.
