The Blanco Middle School Star of the Week is the Blanco Middle School Student Council.

Twenty-one members of the Blanco Middle School student council joined together with members of Blanco Masonic Lodge # 216 to pick up trash on a two mile stretch of Highway 281 north of Blanco last Saturday.

Students who volunteered for this community service project were: Tanner R, Sam I, Kelsey S, Callie C, Paxston K, Selena G Justis L, Brandee W, Leslie M, Eleanor K, Cesar S, Josh M, Will B, Tim G, Edward A, Carlin G, Phillip A, Spencer M, Ryan E, Juan A, and Daniel C.
