Blanco Police Reports

Dec 19
• Reckless Driver. 11:44 AM. A Volvo was reportedly passing in the no passing zone on US 281, north into Blanco.
• Civil Standby. 6:10 PM. An officer was requested to stand by while kids were exchanged.
• Noise Complaint. 7:03 PM. Loud music was reported at the apartment complex on Greenlawn Parkway. An officer reported that the vehicle had left the area.
• Suspicious Circumstances. 9:36 PM. A complainant stated that her daughter left kids at her house and would not come back for them. The complainant later called to report that someone was coming to pick up the kids.
Dec 20
• Disturbance. 12:34 AM. Officers responded to a location where a subject reportedly refused to leave.
• Unknown Nature. 1:45 AM. An officer responded to Blanco General to speak with a caller.
• Minor Traffic Accident. 3:00 AM. A caller backed into another car at Blanco General. The caller was advised to call after 8 AM and get a blue form.
• Arrest on View. 7:47 AM. An officer arrested a subject on Kelly Lane.
• Arrests. 6:25 PM. An officer arrested two subjects.
• Reckless Driver. 9:05 PM. An SUV on US 281, heading north to Blanco, was weaving with its brights on. An officer reported that the vehicle pulled in so the driver could rest.
• Arrest. 9:25 PM. One subject was arrested.
• Arrest on View. 11:28 PM. One subject was arrested.
Dec 22
• Welfare. 12:15 PM. A caller stated that juveniles had been left alone. CPS was notified to confirm the call.
• Audible Alarm. 12:35 PM. Riverside Bar.
• Reckless Driver. 11:16 PM. A caller reported reckless drivers in and out of lanes on US 281, north into Blanco.
Johnson City Police Reports
These reports were filed between Dec 18 and Dec 22.
Dec 18
• Open Door. 2:01 AM. An officer found a door opened at the fire department.
• Alarm. 10:39 AM. Johnson City Bank Drive-Thru. Everything was OK.
• Information. 5:19 PM. A subject asked to speak to an officer.
• Suspicious Vehicle. 5:45 PM. A caller stated that an SUV had been parked for four hours in the Cheers parking lot. The subject was OK, the officer reported.
• Civil Disturbance. 5:58 PM. A complainant reported a disturbance involving child custody and Christmas presents.
Dec 19
• Animal Complaint. 5:20 PM. A black and white dog was in the middle of Live Oak and had been roaming the streets. An officer reported that the dog would not let anyone get near him.
• Loose Livestock. 6:09 PM. A white goat was loose on the side of US 281.
• Noise Complaint. 6:55 PM. Loud music was reported at Casparis Trailer Park. An officer asked the subject to turn down the music.
• Minor Traffic Accident. 7:20 PM. A caller at Exxon had hit a deer, which was possibly still alive, and requested a blue form.
• Suspicious Circumstances. 8:40 PM. A complainant reported kids throwing eggs at carriages near the First Baptist Church. Deputies and DPS assisted in searching for the kids, but they were not located.
• Found Property. 10:20 PM. A duffel bag was found in front of Liberty Lighthouse and was taken to the police department.
Dec 20
• Suspicious Circumstances. 2:28 AM. An officer responded to a call on Live Oak and reported that everything was OK.
• Disturbance. 7:33 AM. Officers responded to a disturbance and one subject was arrested. EMS was refused.
• Vandalism. 9:11 AM.
• Suspicious Person. 4:45 PM. A caller stated that a subject came out of Caps on US 290 West and crossed the road without stopping. The subject was almost run over but did not acknowledge the vehicle, and kept walking. An officer spoke with the subject.
• Alarm. 5:20 PM.
• Disturbance. 6:23 PM. A caller reported a disturbance in front of the old Super S building. Officers reported that the disturbance was verbal and notified juvenile probation.
• Disturbance. 6:32 PM. A caller stated that a subject was causing a disturbance, throwing things at the caller. An officer drove the caller to a hotel.
• Minor Traffic Accident. 7:05 PM. A minor accident occurred in front of PEC at Ave F.
Dec 21
• Forgery. 10:41 AM. A complainant reported an unauthorized debit card transaction.
• Animal Complaint. 3:50 PM. A small dog was chained outside in the cold weather without any shelter.
• Suspicious Circumstances. 8:37 PM. A caller stated that they were at a gas station when two subjects came up to her husband. While one subject asked for directions, the other attempted to break into the rear of their vehicle. Nothing was stolen.
Dec 22
• Information / Verbal Threats / Close Patrol. 1:30 AM. A caller stated that an individual was again receiving threats from a subject. Information was taken and the caller requested a close patrol from an officer (with Blanco Co. SO).
• Theft. 6:56 AM. A caller reported that the gas hut at Super S was broken into overnight. A report was taken (with Blanco Co. SO).
• Juvenile Complaint. 10:30 AM. A complainant stated that juveniles were in the yard at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church and they should not be there. An officer was asked to drive by.
• Civil. 11:23 AM. An officer responded to a civil matter call.
• Panic Alarm. 12:08 PM. Officers responded to the call and reported that the power and phones were out at the residence (with Blanco Co. SO).
Blanco County Sheriff’s Office Reports

Dec 18
• Structure Fire / Agency Assist. 1:18 AM. An officer assisted firefighters with controlling a structure fire.
• Accidental 911 Call. 5:10 AM. A caller accidentally rolled over on the cell phone while in bed and called 911. The caller confirmed everything was OK.
• Prisoner Transfer. 5:18 AM. A prisoner was transferred to the TDCJ Holliday Unit.
• Arrest. 9:52 AM. An officer arrested a suspect on a burglary case.
• Agency Assist. 1:06 PM. Deputies assisted Burnet County with an attempt to serve a warrant at Hoffbrau RV Park.
• 911 Hangup. 9:41 PM. An officer was requested to perform a welfare check after 911 received a call. The call was from phone trouble.
Dec 19
• Suspicious Circumstances. 5:22 AM. A subject was reportedly unresponsive. An officer made a report.
• Traffic Accident. 6:44 AM. A caller stated that he swerved to miss a deer and hit a metal pole on RR 1323. No one was injured.
• Vandalism. 10:00 AM. Mailbox damage was reported.
• Illegal Dumping. 12:50 PM. A dump truck was seen dumping concrete curbs and dirt.
• Alarm. 2:01 PM. Residential.
• Reckless Driver. 2:08 PM. A driver on US 281, south from 71, was reportedly tailgating and slamming on his brakes.
• Trespassing. 3:09 PM. A caller requested an officer issue a criminal trespass warning to a neighbor. .
• Suspicious Vehicle. 4:54 PM. An 18-wheeler was parked on the side of US 920 East. The vehicle was gone on the officer’s arrival.
• Welfare Check. 5:42 PM. A caller stated that an ill individual’s phone has been busy. An officer checked on the individual and reported phone problems.
• Harassment. 7:14 PM. Subjects were reportedly harassing and threatening the complainant over the phone and computer. An offense report was taken.
Dec 20
• Burglar / Agency Assist. 8:34 AM. Officers responded to a burglary call on US 281 / US 290. .
• Animal Complaint. 8:51 AM. A caller reported two border collies.
• Courtesy Transport. 12:29 PM. Comal County notified Blanco County that a subject on RR 32, at the county line, needed a courtesy ride. The subject, who was reportedly intoxicated, refused.
• Traffic Hazard. 1:07 PM. A chest of drawers had come out of a truck on US 290 West and was all over the roadway. The debris had been cleared by the time an officer arrived.
• Suspicious Vehicle. 2:16 PM. A suspicious vehicle was reported on RR 1623 at Trainer-Wuest.
• Suspicious Circumstances. 4:31 PM. A complainant stated that Armadillo Ice House was opening up without a liquor license. The situation was a TABC case.
• Motorist Assist. 5:15 PM. An officer stopped to assist a motorist on US 290 East but the motorist already had help.
• 911 Hangup. 9:49 PM. A 911 call was caused by weather.
• Noise Complaint. 11:46 PM. Loud music was reported at the River Oaks Mobile Home Park. An officer reported that the music was turned off.
Dec 21
• Loose Livestock. 2:13 PM. A caller stated that her donkey got out on RR 1888. Officers helped put the donkey back into the fence (with Blanco PD).
Dec 22
• Reckless Driver. 7:40 AM. A pickup was harassing the complainant while driving on US 281, heading away from Blanco. An officer reported that everything was OK.
• Welfare Check. 12:49 PM. An officer was requested to check on a subject; the officer reported the situation was a civil matter.
• Disturbance. 1:31 PM. A complainant reported a custody dispute and a subject attempting to run him over.
• Disturbance / Agency Assist. 2:07 PM. Officer responded to a disturbance call at C.J’s. Everything was reportedly OK (with Texas DPS).
• Welfare Check. 3:12 PM. A caller asked that an officer check on a subject. The caller was on the phone with the subject while at his driveway gate. The subject hung up the phone; the caller can’t reach the subject now, and the subject has not been acting right.
• Unknown Nature. 3:13 PM. Officers responded to a call and handled a verbal disturbance. The parties involved were separated.

• Traffic Accident. 6:50 AM. A rollover accident was reported on US 290 East at the Y, with the vehicle partly blocking the roadway. Officers assisted with traffic control (with Blanco Co. SO).

• Arrest on View. 12:55 PM. Troopers arrested a subject on US 290 West. A wrecker was requested.
Dec 22
• Traffic Accident. 6:17 PM. A subject was in an accident on US 281 at Lake of the Hills. A wrecker was requested.
