Panthers Even Their District Record at 1-1

After losing their first district game to Ingram on January 11, the Panthers were hungry for a district win. On Friday, January 18, the Lago Vista Vikings became their victims with a 70-39 thrashing by the Panthers.

Kyle Sauceda was on fire at the post position, scoring 28 points to lead the team. Brett Champion followed closely, scorching the nets for 24, Sam Isenberg made 8, with David Ramirez adding 6. Carlin Green scored 3 and Josh McCaslin hit 2 points. Colton Childress added 1 on a free throw.

The Panthers take on the Eagles in Johnson City this Friday and return home on Tuesday, January 29, with an important rematch with Ingram.
