Trail Ride Serves Up Breakfast
Wednesday, January 30, 2013 • Posted January 31, 2013

The Hill Country Trail Ride is coming through Blanco this weekend, February 2 and 3, 2013. This historic trail ride, which kicks off the Rodeo season, is a favorite of Blanco and Johnson City riders. This event has been part of family traditions for many of our Blanco families for several decades.

The riders will stop at Yett Memorial Park on Saturday, February 2, to rest their horses and prepare for the completion of the ride the next day. In keeping with tradition, Sunday morning, February 3, a Cowboy Breakfast will be served to the riders and to the community, before the riders pull out for the last leg of their journey. Please join us under the Pavilion at Yett Park for this time-honored event. Breakfast will be served starting at 5:30 a.m. and will continue until the riders leave, around 6:30 a.m. Requested breakfast donation is $5.00.
