Blanco’s Buggy Barn Museum Wagon to be Featured in San Antonio Western Heritage Parade, Cattle Drive
Wednesday, January 30, 2013 • Posted January 31, 2013

Blanco’s Buggy Barn Museum will be featuring their famous True Grit Cotton Wagon on Saturday, February 2, 2013, by Dennis Moore and staff at this year’s Western Heritage Parade and Cattle Drive on the streets of downtown San Antonio. Join us as we celebrate our proud Texas heritage and this year’s San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo!

Just like the drovers years ago, cowboys will guide a herd of Texas Longhorns on Houston Street from Christus Santa Rosa Hospital and I-35 straight to the Alamo right through the heart of downtown San Antonio. You won’t want to miss experiencing this historic event. Bring your camera, your family, and all your friends. Enjoy children’s games, family activities, and more at the Alamo Plaza (directly across from the Buckhorn Saloon and Museum) following the parade. Rodeo volunteers from the public affairs committee will be on hand to keep the little cowboys to be entertained with stick horse races, coloring, crafts and much more! Disney Radio will be hosting the Buckaroo Breakfast starting at 9:00 am.

The event happens rain or shine.
