The Panther defense held the Ingram Warriors to only 4 points in the first half, while on the offensive end the team pumped in 31 points. Playing at home on Thursday, January 29, the Blanco girls finished the District 27-AA match up with a 55-24 win.

Lexee Jenkins tallied 17 points on many fast breaks and layups. Leslie McClinton scored 15, with Charlsey Smith adding 8. Meaghen Seales made 7 points and Jamie McClinton scored 6. Abbie Culton sank a basket for 2 points.

Blanco traveled to Austin to play St. Stephens on Friday, February 1. The Panthers lost 38 to 50. Blanco lost previously to St. Stephens on January 15, 41-65. Holding the strong St. Stephens team to 15 fewer points is evidence that the Panther defense is improving each game.

Leslie led the team ripping the nets for 20 points. Charlsey scored 5 with Meaghen sinking 4. Reagan Rogers, Payton Savarino, Abbie, and Lexee each hit 2 points. Jamie added 1 point to a free throw.

The junior varsity lost to the Ingram Warriors 22-31. Merritt Johnson fired in 12 points to lead the team. Kari Graham scored 5 points, with Sara Martinez adding 3. Charity Windham made 2 points.
