The Panthers battled the Lago Vista Vikings on Tuesday,, February 5 in their final district game. A Panther victory would tie the two teams in the district standings and force the teams to play again for playoff seeding. However, Blanco fell 32-46, giving Lago Vista the District championship.

Senior Leslie McClinton led the team with 15 points. Junior Meaghen Seales scored 7, with Charlsey Smith adding 6. Lexee Jenkins made 3 points and Jamie McClinton scored 1 on a free throw.

The Junior Varsity lost to Lago Vista 10-48. Kari Graham scored 8 points, with Charity Windham adding 2.

The Varsity squad will play Karnes City for Bi-District after press time on Tuesday, February 12 at Luling.
