Special Auction ends this Friday! Blanco Library is having a sealed envelope auction going on now through Friday, March 22. Review our list of items for sale on our website at www.blancolib.org, check out our minimum bids, and send us an envelope with your top bid, what item you are bidding on, and your contact information of name and phone number; only envelopes postmarked and dropped off at the library by March 22nd will be accepted. We will be opening the envelopes and contacting our auction winners Tuesday, March 26. If you win, please pick up your items from the library March 26 – March 30. If you are interested in a lot of items, you are welcome to give your best total bid for them all.

Items for auction include some of the following items: Room screen, 3 desks, Computer CPU units, Computer monitors, Scanner, Electric typewriter , DVD player, VHS player, Miscellaneous computer parts, Miscellaneous computer cords, Cabinet, Miscellaneous computer mice with track balls, Miscellaneous Keyboards.

Need to get your GED? We suggest working on it now because the test is changing in 2014 (rumor has it that it will be harder). Bob Walch can help you get set up online and prepare for the test. Mr. Walch is teaching classes at Johnson City Library and you can contact him for more details: bwalch@communityaction.com.

Be sure to pick up your tax forms from the library! All forms and instruction booklets have arrived. If there is not a form on our table or shelf, ask the front desk staff to check the master copy notebook to make a free copy.
