Community Appreciation Day & Easter Egg Hunt Set for the Square on Sat.
Wednesday, March 27, 2013 • Posted March 28, 2013

BYOB. That’s Bring Your Own Basket. On Saturday, March 30, from 11:00am to 2:00pm, the Blanco Chamber of Commerce along with the Old Blanco County Courthouse Preservation Society (OBCCPS) will host a community Easter egg hunt.

Bring the kids (ages 10 and younger), meet at the Old Courthouse, and we will lead the way to the hidden eggs. Around the courthouse will be music featuring our own local Ricky Triesch and other local musicians, as well as many of our local non-profit organizations.

Keep Blanco Beautiful (KBB) will be selling lunch on the courthouse grounds to help raise monies for the many projects in which they are involved, such as the Christmas in Blanco Trail of Lights, education projects, Trash-Off Day, and many more.

Come out, bring the family, hunt eggs, enjoy the music, and visit with and get the know the people who volunteer and serve your community. Many local businesses and individuals have donated prizes for the Easter egg hunt, so come on out and support Blanco! Everyone is welcome.
