Wednesday, March 27, 2013 • Posted March 28, 2013

Two burglaries were reported at Yett Park on Saturday, March 23, says Lt. Bob Shelton with the Blanco County Sheriff’s Office. Purses were left in plain view in vehicles, the deputy reports, and their windows were smashed out and items taken. The purses were promptly taken into the city of Blanco and the two complainants’ cards were charged. The burglaries were reported at around 8pm on Saturday. The county is waiting on the Blanco Police Department to file forgery charges, Shelton added.
