Thank You
Gratitude for your part in Blanco’s Community-Wide Resurrection “Sonrise” Service

First, we want to thank this newspaper for faithfully supporting this community by having a “Focus on Faith” section in their paper, allowing the word of God and announcements to reach their readership. Thank you, Blanco County News, for placing Lawrence Coffee‘s article on the front page last week!

Thanks to Johnson City Record Courier for running our articles about the event.

Thanks to everyone connected with Yett Memorial Park and the arena being available for community events.

Thank you Robert Seymour of Seymour’s Garage for overseeing Yett Memorial Park and Blanco Rodeo Association President Darrell West for overseeing the arena.

Thanks to the Blanco Chamber of Commerce for managing the events at Yett Memorial Park and supporting the events by listing them on your website. There's always someone there who learned about our event from your website.

Special thanks to the Chess Club Cafe owner and chef Steve Becker, Emily Cox, and her dad Bruce Bucklin for providing and preparing the delicious breakfast for everyone. Matthew 14:16 Jesus replied, "They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat."

How do we ever adequately thank our faithful friend, brother in Christ and anointed worship leader John Lightfoot for his love of leading us into the presence of God. Thank you Ark worship team and St. Ferdinand's Catholic Church Choir for your time, talents and beautiful worship.

Thanks to Father Justin Udomah for the powerful Resurrection message. Brief excerpt below:

"I AM the Resurrection and the Life!"

Jesus told her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in Me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in Me and believes in Me will never ever die..." John 11:25-26

Jesus, the Son of God, came to manifest Who He is and has always been – Resurrection and Life! Jesus did not come to earth to teach about a theory; He was and is forever the Resurrection Life for everyone who receives Him. Resurrection Life is about our surrender to the Son of God and His call for us to be His witnesses everywhere and with everyone. Surrendering to His resurrected life living through our born-again lives.

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:11

Resurrection and Life is the Spirit deposit from the Father to all those who receive Jesus' gift of eternal life. When we received Jesus, we began carrying the "Resurrection Life" guarantee for everyone on the earth needing "Resurrection" everlasting life.

Father Justin, your story about the three selfish men who found the treasure and its illustration that selfishness always brings death is still ministering to me.

Thank you Blanco’s Hall of Fame Cowboy Lawrence Coffee, from Mt. Horeb Baptist Church, for your sacrifice to serve the least among us, our children. Lawrence, all your work was worth the expression on 4-year-old Miles Kennedy’s face when his rope caught the calf!

Thanks to Jimmy Klepac of Klepac Greenhouses for the flowers donated to bring great beauty to our celebration of Christ’s Resurrection. The flowers were an exceptional display of God’s brilliance.

Thanks to all the local businesses who allowed our posters to be displayed advertising the event.

A special thank you to everyone who came to be blessed by this Community-Wide Celebration and blessing Blanco Ministerial Alliance with your generous donations!

Thanks to everyone who answered the call to pray for this celebration and please start praying for "Resurrection Sunday 2014!"

A special thank you to Bonnie Ruiz, a sweet saint from St. Ferdinand's Catholic Church, for all your assistance.

Thank you Ark Revival Church for the honor of being a part of a body who continually takes “The Calvary Road” giving and serving others to glorify God.

Thanks to "I AM the Resurrection and the Life, Jesus Christ" for everything!
