Blanco Performing Arts Finishes Their Third Season
Wednesday, April 17, 2013 • Posted April 17, 2013

Blanco Performing Arts finished the third season on a high note Sunday afternoon, with violinist Jolente de Maeyer and pianist Nikolaas Kende. The performance began with the dramatic Sonata for Violin and Piano in G major by Claude Debussy and continued with an intricate piece by Francis Poulenc. Following the intermission, the performers took the audience on a romantic journey with the aptly named Romanza by Lodewijk Mortelmans and a wedding Sonata by Cesar Franck. The performers left us feeling the highs and lows of a love story, until they obliged us with an encore of a fast and fun Vivaldi piece. The audience members left with renewed excitement for the upcoming 2013-2014 season. BPA had a successful third season thanks to its patrons and supporters.
