On Tuesday June 17, at about 4pm, Emergency Services were called out to the scene of this wreck at the stoplight at 4th Street and US Hwy 281. The front car in the line of damage was stopped at a green light, attempting to make an illegal left turn from a through lane. Two cars had stopped behind the first, however the white truck in back was unable to stop in time. Blanco PD told Blanco County News that slick roads from rain that day are thought to have contributed. The driver of the first car was transported by Blanco EMS for a non-life threatening injury.
