Wednesday, September 25, 2013 • Posted September 27, 2013

Members of Post 352 and Auxiliary Unit 352 attended the American Legion 10th District Convention held in San Marcos at Post 144 this weekend 9-21-2013 & 9-22-2013. Delegates were Commander and District 10 Chaplain Ted Weeks, Service Officer and Past Commander Tom Avants, Past Commander Bruce Huguelet, Auxiliary Members, President Randi Weeks, Chaplain and Past President Roxanna Avants and Junior Amaya Avants.

District Chaplain Ted Weeks (pictured) conducted a beautiful Post Everlasting Ceremony to honor those Comrades and Auxiliary members who passed on to the Great Post Everlasting in the Sky, this past year.

Classes were held for both the Post and the Auxiliary on Boy's State, Oratorical, Girl's State, and Scholarship programs. The classes were very informational. Information was also given concerning legislation for veterans.

The Post and the Auxiliary send delegates to District, Division, and State Conventions to make sure a local voice is always heard and a local vote is always counted.
