Marching Band Takes Home Awards from Consecutive Contests

On Saturday, October 5, 2013 the Blanco High School Marching Band competed in the Hill Country Marching Festival in Fredericksburg. The Panther Band captured the Marching Award and Music Award for 2A bands. In overall rankings for 2A bands, the Blanco Band was awarded 1st Place.

The previous Saturday, September 28, the Panther Band performed in the East Central Marching Competition and received the outstanding drumline and the outstanding drum major awards.

The Blanco Band will compete again Saturday, October 12 at the Region 12 Marching Contest also to be held at East Central High School. The Band takes the field at 2:15pm. Good luck Panther Band! On to Area!
