Applications for Tots Needs Toys Due November 4
Wednesday, October 23, 2013 • Posted October 24, 2013

Christmas is coming, and once again TOTS NEED TOYS is preparing to make Christmas a little brighter for children of families who are suffering some hardship this holiday season. TNT tries to provide two gifts for each child from newborn through age twelve in these families. The children must reside within the Blanco Independent School District boundaries and the person applying for assistance must be the parent or legal guardian of these children. Proof of residence such as a copy of a utility bill with the name and address on it or a rent receipt with the same information must be submitted with the application.

Application forms for assistance are being dispersed through the school counselors and some are available at Blanco United Methodist Church and St. Ferdinand’s Catholic Church. The forms are to be returned to the school or church no later than November 4.

It will take the community to help with this program more than ever this year as we are going to be shopping for the individual child from a wish list. If you want to put a smile on a child’s face Christmas morning, you may make a monetary donation to TOTS NEED TOYS through Blanco United Methodist Church and the shopping will be done for you, or you may pick up a wish list and do the shopping yourself.

Individuals or groups interested in assisting with the TOTS NEED TOYS program may contact Cerice Spivey at 830-833-5030.
