Donald “Gene” Moore

Donald “Gene” Moore, age 76 of Irving, died on November 3, 2013. He was born on August 25, 1937 in Austin, Texas to Raymond and Rose May Moore and worked as a machinist in the aircraft industry until his retirement.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife Alice Annette Moore. Donald will be missed by his son Tom Moore and his wife Beth of Highland Village; daughter Pamila Annette Gantt and spouse Floyd of Flower Mound; son Christopher A. Moore and wife Julie of Seguin; grandchildren Jennifer Upchurch and husband Dale; Stephanie Christoffers and spouse Doug; Boston Moore and spouse Heather; Kate, Tess and Samantha Moore and Gillian Gantt; great grandsons Randy Allen Moore and Noah and Wyatt Upchurch; brother Charles Moore and wife Tinker of Burnet; sisters Patsy Lewis and husband Tommy of Seguin and Mary Brunner and spouse Junior of Bergheim along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A Graveside funeral service will held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Blanco Cemetery in Blanco, Texas with visitation on Friday, November 8, 2013 from 5-7 PM at Crofts-Crow Funeral Home located at 911 Mesquite Street, Blanco, Texas 78606.

Arrangements made especially for the Moore family by Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home.
