Letter to the Editor

It is with great pride on this Veterans Day, November 11, 2013, that I write this letter. I want to say thank you to all the veterans and active duty for their service. I want to say thank you to all my American Legion members, and to all the ladies in the auxiliary. You guys are true heroes. Veterans still serving veteransm and auxiliary serving veterans!

Thank you to the community of Blanco. Thank you to Blanco High School band and Mr H. and Brandon Aly. Thank you to Canyon Lake ROTC and Sergeant Medina and Colonel Collyer. Thank you to Paul for announcing. Thank you to the city of Blanco, to the Blanco Chamber of Commerce, to Curtis and Libbey.

A very special thank you to my niece, Laura Day. Couldn't make it without you girl. To my husband Tom, Vietnam veteran and my hero, Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I Love you. To Amaya thank you for hanging in there, ma maw loves you.

If there's anyone I have forgotten, I apologize. I could not pull this parade without a lot of help. Thanks to you all, and to all the entrants.
