Cub Scouts Take Newspaper Tour

Members of Cub Scout Pack 297, Den 3, toured the office of the Blanco County News Thursday, November, 19 to see how a newspaper is produced using computerized technology.

Editor-Publisher Roy McNett gave the Scouts a tour of the office and explained how news stories and advertisements are entered into a computer and transferred to print through the use of a laser jet printer.

Members of the Pack include Jimmy Wright, Wesley Murrah, Gerald Vradenburg, Craig Gourley, Joe Hanus, and Jimmy Stewart. Den leaders are Deborah Stewart and Marcella Murrah.
