The Yett Memorial Park Committee and the Blanco Chamber of Commerce will host the first Yett Park Trade Fair this Saturday, January 11 at the Yett Memorial Park. The Trade Fair is open to anyone and everyone who has something to sell or trade. Household goods, garage sale items, collectibles and more will be available at the park this day. As the weather warms, the hope is that a Farmer’s Market will be a part of the Fair.
For the first three months, vendors can secure their spot for just $25.00. The cost covers a 10x10 spot, under the covered pavilion. As the Fair grows in size, in terms of the number of vendors, the covered spots will be reserved for Farmer’s Market type vendors.
“Yett Park has been growing in popularity as a location for fundraising concerts and events. Because of the increased use of the park, the need to upkeep the common areas of the park has become more and more important. The Yett Park Committee feels that this event will not only be a benefit to the community in terms of selling and trading of goods, but will provide a modest, yet steady, income to put towards maintenance and improvement of the park.”, Libbey Aly of the Blanco Chamber.
Vendor applications are available on the Blanco Chamber web-site and at the Chamber office. Please call or stop by if you would like more information. Make plans to come out to the park on Saturday and search for treasure!! Yett Park is located at 1803 US Highway 281 in Blanco.
