Lady Panthers Fall in Bi-District

The Blanco Lady Panthers lost in the Bi-District round of playoffs to the Nixon-Smiley Mustangs on Tuesday, February 11 at the Seguin High School gym. The Panthers led at halftime, 30-26, but the Mustangs led by four points at the final buzzer, 52-56.

Jamie McClinton fought through the defense to lead the team scoring 15 points. Lexee Jenkins sank 12, with Meaghen Seales adding 11 points. Reagan Rogers made 9 and Charlsey Smith scored 3. Abbie Culton added 2 points.

The Lady Panthers had an outstanding season capped with an undefeated, 8-0, district championship. The Varsity Panthers lose two seniors to graduation, Meaghen Seales and Megan Wier, but return 8 juniors and 2 sophomores. The Panthers will be back strong and looking forward to a deeper playoff run next year.
