Dear Editor,

I’m writing to give praise and thanks to your “911” men and women.

On January 17, 2009 my grandson was in an accident playing on the porch at our deer camp at Milfos Ranch in Blanco. It was a head injury.

We called 911 and they were there in minutes and just took charge and were wonderful.

Thanks to their expertise, he is doing great. He has a fracture and concussion, but is on his way to a full recovery.

So, thank you, and I hope Blanco knows how lucky they are to have such great people there with 911.
