Library to Host Family History Writer

(Bulverde, Texas) Roxolin Krueger’s first book was titled, Oma Tell Me About Olden Times in the Gruene Family which was a family history. Her second is titled Dearest Bert, and she will discuss it in a presentation at the Bulverde/Spring Branch Library on Thursday, February 12th at 1:00 p.m. Krueger wrote this book based on letters written to her Aunt Bert from her husband, Alvin. He was a B-17 bomber pilot stationed in the Philippine Islands on December 8, 1941, the day Pearl Harbor was bombed. His letters cover a one year period during World War II. He later went on to become the first four medal winner of the war.
