The American Legion Post 352 and American Legion Auxiliary Unit 352 were among the local businesses and individuals who provided support for the "Veterans Moving Forward" fundraiser on Saturday March 22, 2014 at the Carriage Hills Ranch. Post 352 and Unit 352 are the only veterans’ organizations in Blanco County. Members attending were Commander Ted Weeks, Past Commander and Post VA Service Officer Tom Avants, Auxiliary Chaplain Roxanna Avants, and Junior Auxiliary member Amaya Avants. The Post and Auxiliary were very proud to lend our support to this cause. Past Commander Avants offered his service to grill the sausages for the event while Commander Weeks and Chaplain Avants manned the booth to get out information to the veterans.

If any veterans, widows, or family of veterans are in need of help with VA benefits, please feel free to call Tom Avants at 830-833-2562 or email
