What to Bring and What Not to Bring to the Blanco County Household Waste Collection Event

The Event will be held April 26th, 8:00am-3:00pm.

What to bring

Household tire collection & disposal for a fee.

Lead-acid batteries.

Rechargeable batteries.

Large household trash items: Construction debris, carpet, appliances, including refrigerators, stoves, freezers, microwaves, dishwasher, water heaters.

Scrap steel & metal.

What not to bring

Dioxins.

Containers larger than 5 gallons.

Explosives.

Medical & Pharmaceutical items.

Compressed gas cylinders (aerosols & camp stove propane).

Fluorescent light bulbs.

Industrial or commercial/business waste.

Paper, cardboard, aluminum, glass & plastic bottles #1 & #2 (These items are accepted at Blanco County Recycle Center).

Household chemicals.

Petroleum based paint, stain, varnish.

Latex paint.

Cell phones, telephones.

Computer components, parts, monitors.

Televisions.

Used motor oil.

Antifreeze.
