Edith “Ann” Braly Jones

Edith “Ann” Braly Jones went to be with the Lord, family and friends on Friday, May 9, 2014 at the age of 78. She was born in Brady, Texas on February 3, 1936 to Sam and Sybil Braly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carlton Forrest Jones “P-Nut” and grandson, Forrest Thomas Jones.

Ann is survived by her sisters, Ura Mae Pearce and Landa Jim Arthur and her daughter, Carla Hamilton (Donnie), son Forrest “Toker” Jones, daughters Penny Jones (Albert), Landa Lassberg (Bart) and Sybil Jones (Thomas). She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren: Stephanie Fortune, Megan Jones, Buck Jones, Ben Jones, Brady Townsley, Samantha Hamilton, Cliff Jones, Layne Lassberg, Kaylie Hamilton and Cameron Scruggs as well as 6 great-grandchildren: Collin Romero, Caden Kneese, Alleigh Jones, Blayz Bushman, Chase Fortune and Paul Kenneth Jones. She also leaves behind many loving relatives and friends.

Ann will be remembered for her passion of arrowhead hunting in the beautiful Texas hill country.

Visitation was held at Crofts - Crow Funeral Home in Blanco Sunday May 11 from 2-4 Graveside services were at McKinney Cemetery Monday May 12 at 10am. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Donations in Ann’s honor can be made to Hill Country Memorial Hospital or the charity of your choice.
