James “Jim” Hamilton Fisher

James “Jim” Hamilton Fisher, 63, passed away June 19, 2014. He was born March 13, 1951 in San Antonio, Texas to J.P. Fisher, Jr. and Virginia Doris Fisher.

Jim and his father owned and operated the Yellow and Checker Cab Companies in San Antonio, Texas, and in Corpus Christi, Texas. They worked together, side by side, for 29 years. Jim moved to Rockport with the love of his life and best friend, Joyce in 2005.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Sandra Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Fisher of Rockport, Texas; sons, J Cat Fisher (Charlee) of Houston, Texas, Creed Fisher and his daughter, Ava, of Plano, Texas; daughter, Hally Ann Fisher of Austin, Texas; Joyce’s Children, David Giles (Dondra) of San Antonio, Texas, and their children, Baylee, and Brandon, Keri Patterson (Mike) of Rockport, Texas and their children, Case, and Conner, Lori Nesloney (Darenger) of Rockport, Texas; sister, Stephanie Branscum (Sterling) of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 10:00 am at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport, Texas. Burial will be private.
