God created perfect foods for us to eat and most people are not eating enough of them.
New discoveries are being made about the healing benefits of fruits, vegetables and grains, yet many people will never know, because they just don’t read that stuff. They’ll Google information on their hobbies, but not good health & nutrition.
It’s not the devil that causes sickness and disease! It’s our very own poor eating habits.
Some of us were taught that fruits and vegetables are “good for us” and we should eat more of them, but the trouble is, no one ever explained it to us, partly because when we were kids they didn’t know as much as they do now.
Now they’ve learned that several vegetables and fruits actually have cancer-fighting things in them, and some are anti-inflammatory. Inflammation can lead to diabetes, cardiovascular disease or cancer. Some fruits & vegetables actually lower blood pressure. Some increase our immune system. Some help bone density. Some prevent cataracts from developing. Some combat osteoporosis, and reduce cholesterol.
Now, if you knew that Acerola cherries, for example, are good for vision and increase our memory, wouldn’t you eat more of them? Or, what about kale? It’s crucial for cell replication! And carrots clean blood cell walls, and peaches regulate digestion and bowel movements!
Try it yourself. Go online and type in “benefit of eating apples” for example and look at what scientists and nutritionists have discovered about apples.
My articles are ALWAYS about God’s Word, but today, this article is about how good He is, and how dumb we are. We are ignoring the precious health benefits in the foods He created for us, because He knew what our bodies would be subjected to, and what we would need to live to 120 years, yet some people would rather blame disease on the devil instead of accepting the blame for not eating right. There are no phytonutrients or antioxidants in chips, pastries, and corndogs.
Search any fruit and vegetable and discover how good God is, and how awesome he is. These diseases and physical ailments that are attacking our bodies are able to reduce some people to death simply because they never ate any fruits and vegetables! Perhaps they preferred to drink canned sodas instead of water (which God gave us) and canned meats & packaged pastries instead of real fruits and vegetables.
So this article is intended to praise God for the perfect foods He created for us, and remind you so you can invest some of your time into researching the benefits of eating fruits, vegetables and grains so you can start eating more of them.
It is written in God’s Word “my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” That is part of a Scripture, and it’s not meant to be taken out of context. It’s only used here to illustrate that many do die from lack of knowledge.
We don’t have to contract cancer or cataracts or macular degeneration or heart disease or asthma or indigestion or diabetes or high blood pressure. We don’t have to be sterile if we’d eat more beets (and the tops), and guess what, beets also cleanse the liver and kidneys!
The foods God gave us protect us from those ailments. Eat them & live!
“41 Let thy mercies come also unto me, O Lord, even thy salvation, according to thy word.
42 So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.
43 And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.
44 So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.
45 And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.
46 I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.
47 And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.
48 My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.
49 Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
50 This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.”
